This policy explains what Sideline collects, why, and who else receives it. Sideline is published by GoalMind Studios.
Almost nothing. Sideline has no login, no profile and no server-side account. The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:
The app requests live scores and stream links from our servers. Those requests carry the technical information any web request carries — your IP address, device type and app version. We use it only to serve the response and to spot abuse, and we do not build a profile from it.
Sideline is free because it shows ads. Ads are served through CAS.AI, which works with several ad networks including Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin, Liftoff, InMobi, Mintegral, Pangle and others.

They use this to decide which ad to show and to measure whether it worked. We receive only aggregate totals — impressions and revenue — never a record of what any individual person saw.
Each partner has its own policy: Google, Meta, Unity, AppLovin, CAS.AI.
With your permission, Sideline sends notifications about matches and app news through Firebase Cloud Messaging. Your device is given an anonymous token so messages can reach it. That token identifies a device, not a person, and we do not link it to anything else.
Turn notifications off in your device settings at any time. Nothing else in the app depends on them.
Where a match has a stream, playback connects directly from your device to whoever hosts it. That host sees your IP address and device details, the same as any website you visit. Those hosts are not operated by us and are not covered by this policy.

Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID. Ads keep appearing but stop being tailored to you.

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored, since all of it lives on your device. There is no account for us to delete, because there was never one to create.
Sideline is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will remove it.
Where the GDPR applies, our basis for processing is your consent for personalised advertising, and legitimate interest for serving the app and keeping it working. The app shows Google's consent form on first launch; you can change your answer at any time by clearing the app's data.
You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Since we hold no account data, most of these are satisfied by uninstalling — but write to us if you want anything confirmed.
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing an advertising identifier with ad networks may count as a "sale" or "share" under the CCPA. To opt out, delete your advertising ID as described above; the app passes that signal on to its ad partners, including Meta's Limited Data Use mode.
Traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we hold very little to begin with, which is the strongest protection available.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
